Cold Brews, Hot Deadlines: Maverick saves the day for Dunkin’ KSA Launch

When Dunkin’ International reached out to Maverick Studios, their upcoming Cold Brew launch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was in urgent need of a rescue. The initial visuals developed by a local agency felt off-brand and unrefined, with only 72 hours left before the market launch.

With limited assets and an impossible deadline, the Maverick team dove right in. We rebuilt the entire visual system from next to scratch—crafting photorealistic Cold Brew drinks, caramel swirls, and even coffee jelly cubes unique to the Middle Eastern market. When stock or photography didn’t exist, we created it using AI tools, editing software, and seasoned design wizardry. Localization added another layer of complexity—from right-to-left layouts to tracing Arabic typography by hand to ensure cultural and linguistic accuracy.

The design team rebuilt every element layer by layer to match Dunkin’s signature global look. Every little detail was retouched to make the drinks feel fresh-from-the-cup. Even with minimal source material, we were able to maintain Dunkin’s high production quality.

Despite a long lineup of challenges, the result was a cohesive, premium suite of visuals that looked unmistakably Dunkin’. And the co-op mission became another showcase of what it means to be a Maverick: flexible, fast, and fiercely creative, especially under pressure.
